#Microblog Mondays: I have a To-Do list

I know, so exciting eh?

I've been so focused on existential questions about life and work in the past week or so that I didn't have any expectations that I would accomplish anything. I did get some things done, but I couldn't focus my mind on it. Now that I feel past some of that I'm going to try to live in the present and have a great summer!

On the to-do list so far:

  • grocery shopping
  • some yard chores in the front and back
  • look into swim lessons for AJ
  • fill out some forms that have been ignored for too long
  • connect and hopefully make plans with the people I've had "we should really get together" conversations with in the last two months, and look into some leads and ideas for mom friends
I'm not giving myself a timeline for it, but hopefully will get to most of those things this week!

hope everyone has a good one.

  1. Oh forms! How I loathe them. Reward yourself afterwards for each of these tasks. And I hope the swim lessons are a lot of fun!

    1. I loathe them too. But compared to teaching-related forms these are very easy LOL.

  2. I love checking off things on the to-do list. Not the actual doing, but the checking off afterward.

  3. Oh, summer! Such an exciting time. I love to-do lists, and also add the things I did already so I can feel accomplished by checking something off right off the bat. I also feel like I'm going to spend summer catching up with all the "we should get together" people... Summer, the season where you have all the time in the world but very little money. :)

  4. Ha! That is almost exactly my to do list. I started looking into swimming lessons and after seeing the prices and schedules, neither of which were inticing, I think we're just going to make a few trips to pools in the area on our own to play in the water first. One mom told me the early lessons weren't much more than getting comfortable in the water anyhow. I'm curious to see what you find out.
